Singaraja-The Faculty of Education is collaborating with the Buleleng Regency Government related to the Internship of Prospective Learning Technology Developers in Buleleng Regency to realize leading and competitive Human Resources. On this occasion, the Regional Secretary of Buleleng Regency, Drs. Gede Suyasa, M.Pd., Head of the Buleleng Regency Youth and Sports Education Office, Made Astika, S.Pd, M.M., and Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Cooperation, Dr. I Gede Rasben Dantes, S.TI, M.TI., his party was warmly welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Prof. Dr. I Ketut Gading, M.Psi., and his staff at the UNDIKSHA FIP Seminar Room.
This Memorandum of Understanding was signed directly by the Dean of FIP UNDIKSHA, I Ketut Gading with Head of Youth and Sports Education Office (Kadisdikpora or Kepala Dinas Pendidikan Kepemudaan dan Olahraga), Made Astika accompanied by the Secretary of Buleleng Regency, Gede Suyasa and the leadership of FIP UNDIKSHA, on Wednesday, February 23, 2022. Dean, I Ketut Gading assessed the role of Learning Technologists as very important to support the teaching and learning process in education units, especially in designing digital learning. He emphasized that this collaboration was held to fulfill the Key Performance Indicators of Higher Education, one of which was to increase the absorption of graduates in the world of work.
In line with this, the Head of Education and Youth Education of Buleleng Regency, Made Astika, said that to improve the quality of learning, it was deemed necessary to have the role of Education Technology graduates in it. Furthermore, the Secretary of the Buleleng Regency, Gede Suyasa, emphasized that judging from the substance and pattern of learning in educational units that led to the digitalization era, the role of Learning Technologists is needed to assist teachers in making interesting learning media.
