Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) celebrates its 30th anniversary. The opening ceremony took place on Monday (16/1/2023) and peaked on Wednesday (25/1/2023). This annual commemoration is used as a momentum to echo harmony to create Superior Undiksha for Resilient Indonesia.

The opening of this anniversary began with a flag ceremony which was attended by the academic community. On this occasion, awards were also given to the lecturers for their success in completing their postgraduate level education. In addition, there are awards for retired lecturers. The award was given for his service and dedication at Undiksha.

Chancellor of Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd said that during its 30 year journey since it was named STKIP Singaraja in 1993, Undiksha has experienced significant progress, many fundamental changes have occurred at this University. Starting from an academic full of achievements, to a comfortable and harmonious environment. This progress was assessed as the result of hard work with the academic community.

Competitive universities, and it is hoped that it will be able to become a Trend-Setter and International Reputable University. The theme of this year’s anniversary is “Undiksha Harmony, Undiksha Excellence for Resilient Indonesia”, it is hoped that it can be a trigger and motivation for the academic community to always work better in the future.

Even though there will be very tough challenges ahead, the Chancellor of Jampel stated that the academic community must always try their best, work with a living heart, sincere intentions, and high commitment. This anniversary celebration is different from the previous two years. Along with the slowing down of the Covid-19 case, various activities were carried out offline, including competitions consisting of sports, arts, debates, scientific works, and so on. What is very special is that Undiksha also inaugurated 17 great teachers.
